Harristown Firefighters performed the annual Fire Hose Testing in accordance with NFPA Standard 1962 which requires each fire hose to be tested at 250 psi for 5 minutes to ensure that the fire hose is ready to perform. The Insurance Services Office also requires Fire Hose to be tested in accordance with NFPA Standards to ensure a better "Fire Rating" for homeowners insurance.
